APSP Member Values APSP members enjoy a preferred status to receive value in the four focus areas that you - our members and the most successful companies and individuals in our industry - have told us are most important to you: Education and Certification Education and Certification Toward that end, APSP is improving instructional support and education materials to make them consistent and uniform for all members. The educational programs we’ve developed are being used in vocational and trade schools to increase the availability of skilled labor to meet the increasing hiring needs of our industry - and this effort will increase. Our goal is clear: To promote stronger recognition and appreciation for APSP credentials and certifications among state regulators and legislators as well as the residential and commercial end-users of our products. Greater Promotion and
Visibility Each year our media relations efforts promoting the positive health, enjoyment, and safety benefits of pools, spas, and hot tubs result in articles appearing in thousands of newspapers and magazines. A new and extensive print advertising and direct mail campaign will be launched in spring 2005 reaching consumers and government officials with our messages that APSP members are the experts and go-to professionals in the recreational water industry. Our four web sites, TheAPSP.org, PoolPeopleUSA.com, HotTubLiving.com, and SplashZone.com (for hot tub and pool kids) successfully drive consumers to APSP members. TheAPSP.org site provides services to association members as well as to the public. The site promotes the life-enhancing benefits of industry products, highlights the credibility of APSP members, and helps end-users – your customers -- find the right contacts for building pools, buying pools and hot tubs, renovating pools, and purchasing pool, spa, and hot tub products. It also provides access to APSP member services, products and program, as well as topics for non-members, the media, and government officials. PoolPeopleUSA.com, and HotTubLiving.com are consumer-directed sites offering consumers and end-users the information and tools they are looking for to purchase industry products. Both sites generate qualified leads to consumers ready to buy -- from you, APSP members. SplashZoneUSA.com ise directed to children delivering safety messages via games and fun, making buying and using industry products a family experience. APSP -- Your Advocate For
